I suggest that one should accept the fact that we are gonna die, and make the most of our time here by doing what one likes most. The Eternal Slumber is our one and only honest and best friend, one should welcome him with both arms open. From this Eternal Slumber we have come to be and we will return to the same.

To me the phrase: fear of getting old ... means: worried about being passed my prime years. Well it's to late to be worried, I've passed my prime. I am not concerned that I have matured. I believe getting older is a good thing. Experience and well-being affects the fear of getting old.

I am getting old and I think it's a wonderful thing. I don't have to work. Thanks to America's Social Security the taxpayers pay all my bills. I can sleep when I want. I can play chess all day and all night.
It helps that I have a healthy lifestyle. I never require a doctor for anything. Some day I will drop dead. I don't have a problem with that because I expect to live over a 100 years.
Just let everyone younger than you die.That way you will be the youngest
Man is the only living animal in this world that knows he is going to die in the future because he had eaten the fruit of knowledge. The Bible said so. It is also because of this fear that men invented religions to give himself hope that somehow he will survive and keep on living forever. The fruit of birth is death and vice versa. Sometime ignorance can be blissful. IMHO and no offence meant.
