Agreed with #5.
Maybe an option in the players settings to be able to switch off the chat playing anonymous opponents would help...?!
Or maybe not let anonymous people use the chat in the first place?
There is not much at all you can do to punish anonymous players, if you ban the IP address, they can just unplug and plug the router, so I agree with my brother (@V1chess) in his post about not letting anonymous players use the chat.
I think, again, that Annonymouss should have all the rights lichess can give them without any kind of tracking. But no more rights! I think that there should be a chat filter in generally any game that filters of all swearing. If a player or Annonymus sweares too much he lost. Just like "cheat detected".
@MikaAlka Is there a FIDE rule that prohibits players to swear over the board?
@Tangelo777 I really don't know but I reasonably think that there is.
#1 How can a program detect whether a person is unfriendly? It's an intractable problem...
Well, one solution would be from my post here: en.lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/block-certain-anonymous-players
If someone is bothering you, a quick 'block this anonymous user' button would suffice. At least you don't have to play with them again until they restart their pc/browser/etc.
