Why do we have school

It's important to be able to do helpful things that we don't feel like doing but that need to be done. Not every valuable experience is fun.

Many children growing up on the farm learn that early, in my experience. School, also, helps to develop a very useful tolerance for work.

By that logic, I shouldn't have to work because work is just a bunch of boring tasks for hours.

If I don't have to do anything I don't want to do because I find it hard or boring, then our society will never progress - no one wants to do hard and boring things. Society collapses when we don't though - for who is helping run the fun things? Workers! And if those workers disappear then you lose that "fun" if you know what I mean :)

common sense tells me that this comment is totally hilarious. sorry about that. no harm meant.
no offense taken. I did hope it would be taken that way.
