The answer which caught my attention is that of pguardiario, I would not think of that. First thought was, so what, but thinking it over, it makes sense.
Also Tim with the explanation of the possible follow up makes sense.
I'm definitely all about logic, not memorizing. But to see the logic in openings is not that easy I think. Somehow everything I find on openings is more on the memorizing and statistics side.
I would have probably played e5 as to develop the other bishop. As I learned that it is important to develop as quickly as possible.
