3 pawns vs 1 bishop endgame: when is it a win vs. a draw?

Is there a rule of thumb or a way to evaluate (over the board, no engine help) whether the endgame is winning if you have 3 pawns and a king vs. your opponent's bishop and king?

Thanks.
Depends on whether pawns are connected or split, king placements and whether king is pushed to the back rank.
Split pawns with active king are normally would be drawn. Connected pawns with a rook pawn should be drawn, given the active bishop and king placements. Central pawns, if the king is pushed to the back rank, may depend on whose move it is.
