Cheating is getting out of Hand

Almost every game I play now , the plays are delayed and perfect counters almost every game even against people lower rated, its easy to see and a real shame. Making me want to quit online chess altogether.
Aah don't give up , cheaters only cheating themselves , they must feel bad in their gut in the end. I don't know how rife cheating is, but don't give up. I guess we have to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. That generally people are good and truthful and playing fairly otherwise on line chess will go on a perpetual downward spiral and die. Have faith and try not to get down about it and try to enjoy chess for what it is. A game. Stay true yeah? xxx SOJB xxx
Do you have actual proof of people cheating besides them being normal players who may spend inconsistent amounts of time on each move?
yes i confess. i didnt have anal beads, so i used my finger and morsed allot.
ill send you all your points back immediately. they might be a bit stinky.
Here's some high octane speculation ...

Let's say I'm a 16 - 20-something year-old with no intrinsic interest in chess itself, but am deep into software geekiness, and maybe even computer gaming in general ...

Especially now, after the Niemann Crisis and its ongoing aftermath, I might be very interested in seeing if I could build a cheat bot which can elude detection also.

In fact for some, how many we'll probably never know, this quest might even become their own personal Holy Graile, the entire point of their existence.

Maybe I'm taking this a little to far, but again, we'll probably never know that either ...
fans for hans - check
released annal taboos - check
can 1 smoke moke - question mark
think really big
watch socieaty and human relations and cultural constructs as scams (games religions courts governments sports museums schools etc)
everybody is cheating all day long, allways scaming
even themselves, just to apear better at theyr own eyes
no go and write a poem and then be happy for as long as you can
and remenber that even if caissa does not exist she loves all chess players

this is a quote from fischer's giraffe on social media or maybe Book of Tom 75:2 How Tom, i forgot
I can beat a 1900 and yet lose to an 1100 ,I'm a great believer that chess is a level playing field and anyone can beat anyone and that ratings are a little silly. xxx I could easily be accused of cheating when I play like 1000 rated player one day and a 1900 shark the next or even in the same tournament That's why no one knows how much cheating is going on. I've heard GMs saying to prodigies if you get banned take it as a compliment. I don't really think there is anyway of knowing. Because of the virtually infinite no. of lines ? variations that a game can follow . Especially with naive players that get lucky sometimes ( like me, lol that know very few lines) ignorance is bliss, especially for a natural player. Well some ignorance, at my level anyhow. Anyway that's just my thoughts on the matter. No one really knows how much cheating is really going on,let's hope it's not that much xxx SOJB xxx

If you cheat here using an engine, your chances of getting away with it are ridiculously low. Why not think of 5 very effective ways to detect online cheating? If you do, you will only be 10 ways behind Lichess. Oh, and make sure they are the exact same ways, because if you leave any that Lichess use out, you will be caught.
