What is the worst opening?

Someone on chessdotcom created a thematic tournament with all games starting 1.a4 e5 2.Ra3. I remember protesting that this was an awful second move for White, but they came out with some nonsense about White having good compensation for the exchange if Black takes it.
The one you barely practice.

London isn't bad.
It's a solid opening for newer players to get started. But wont help you develop as well with understanding pawn tension and tactics as much as other openings. You spend most of your time just playing rote moves and face the same positions 300 times.

It's just boring to go against for players that like more pawn clashes or dynamic play and diverse games.

I do think d4 c4 and e4 games develop newer players faster.
