What rating system is used here now?

Guys, I'm cusious about the rating used here. For instance, I just don't get how anyone here can have a rating over 2700, leave alone over 2900?
What is the reference point for 2000 standard Elo here?
A 1600 player can't fathom how a 2700 player gets his rating... Really? Tell me something new.
I think he meant that in real life highest rating is 2872 or 2882 of Magnus Carlsen. But rating in real life and rating in online chess are different. 2000 here somewhere about 2000 in real life, but It is not corresponds on every level.
Потому что твой вопрос не понятен.
2000 here is nowhere close to 2000 "in real life", assuming by "real life" you mean FIDE or USCF ratings. lichess ratings are at least 200 (more likely 300-400) points higher.

FIDE uses ELO not Glicko system so pointless to compare apples with oranges...
