should pineapple belong on pizza?

I just realized that some do pineapple on their pizza????And personally I don't think it should!
no. no, pineapple does NOT belong on pizza. pineapple will NEVER belong on pizza

(nothing against all you hawaiian pizza lovers)
According to the Webster Dictionary, the definition:

a dish of Italian origin consisting of a flat, round base of dough baked with a topping of tomato sauce, pineapple, and cheese, typically with added meat or vegetables.

Yes. the tomato is a fruit, olives also , and that shocks no one. so putting pineapple on pizza is legitimate, much more than putting meat or fish.

pizza is a sweet dish,

it's a kind of fruit tart, where you can put whatever you want.
Calling pizza a "fruit tart" is a bold stroke, @CSKA_Moscou ! Sometimes an epiphany explodes onto the scene without warning!

I WAS going to defend pineapple on pizza, anyway, just out of principle (the principle of freedom of choice when no harm results).

But now? You've given me even more justification to do so, even though I'm a pepperoni man, myself.

Good work!
