Lichess, revert the terrible changes to the studies.
Lichess just made a Windows 8 move with the studies. Let's get them to revert those changes. Use #revertstudychanges
Lichess study - a glorious feature of lichess we all know and love. Many great creators have made countless great pieces of work for all that have helped countless people in their chess career. Of course, there are some issues with it, but they were minor inconveniences and/or visual glitches that were easy to fix. Well, until now, that is.
No annotated comments section, cannot see members, cannot see who's viewing the study!
Well, up until a few days ago, when lichess did something horrific with this feature.
They made a Windows 8/Windows Vista move with it.
- They removed the ability to see who made the study as well as who is currently viewing the study.
- UPDATE: They did add back the ability to see who made the study! However, they still need to fix the rest.
- Even worse, you cannot even see who wrote the comments as you cannot even see the annotation comments of other's outside of on the moves themselves. And the owner of the study could be different from the one who did the majority of the work. Seriously WTF lichess.
- No new features were added to make up for this.
