Why is ' classical' such a wide range?

One thing I don't really understand about Lichess is that classical is such a wide range. 5+5, 10+0, 15+10, 30+0, 45+45 etc. is all classical and in the same rating/player pool. I understand that maybe the player base on Lichess isn't big enough to make seperate bullet/blitz/rapid/classical rating pools, but shouldn't time controls like 5+5 and 10+0 just belong to Blitz?

Why is that?
Copy-pasted? What do you mean? I didn't post there
Playerbase is plenty big enough. Division should be as follows:

etime < 3 = bullet
etime < 15 = blitz
etime < 45 = rapid
etime >= 45 = classical

where etime = time + 2/3*increment
Because so few people have enough time to play 45 minute games, so they play 10 or 15 minute games.
